How to Charge Your EV Using RFID Card with Ecoplug Charging Stations As electric vehicles (EVs) become increasingly popular, the need for convenient and efficient charging solutions has grown. At Ecoplug Energy India Limited, we are committed to providing smart and user-friendly charging stations across the country. One of the most convenient ways to charge your EV with our stations is by using an RFID card. In this blog, we’ll walk you through the process of charging your EV using an RFID card at an Ecoplug charging station. Step 1: Locate an Ecoplug Charging Station The first step is to find a nearby Ecoplug charging station. You can easily do this through our mobile app or website, which shows real-time availability and station locations. Once you’ve found a station, park your EV in the designated charging spot. Step 2: Connect Your EV to the Charger Before using your RFID card, connect the charging cable to your EV. Make sure the plug is securely attached to the charging port of your vehicle. Step 3: Swipe Your RFID Card With your EV connected, locate the RFID reader on the Ecoplug charging machine. Simply swipe your RFID card over the reader. The machine will authenticate the card and start the charging process if your account is in good standing. Step 4: Monitor the Charging Process Once authenticated, the charging station will begin powering your EV. You can monitor the charging status on the machine’s display or through the Ecoplug mobile app. Both will show key information such as the amount of energy delivered and the charging speed. Step 5: Stop the Charging When Complete When your vehicle is sufficiently charged, simply swipe your RFID card again to stop the charging process. Alternatively, the system may stop automatically once the battery is fully charged. Afterward, disconnect the charging cable from your EV and return it to the station. Step 6: Payment and Receipts Your RFID card is linked to your Ecoplug account, so payment will be automatically processed. You can view the detailed transaction in your app or receive a payment receipt via email. Why Use RFID Cards for EV Charging? RFID cards offer a quick and secure way to access Ecoplug charging stations. By using the card, you can avoid the hassle of manual payments and lengthy authentication processes, ensuring a seamless charging experience every time.
